Unlike throwaway, mass market OC (“pepper spray”) canisters, the ASP Palm Defender is a refillable, precision dispersion device, designed and manufactured to professional law enforcement standards. The proprietary, replaceable aerosol insert contains police-grade, 1.33% major capsaicinoids—the maximum allowable concentration for a personal defense spray.

Also, unlike typical pepper sprays, The Palm Defender is held and used in a tactical, fighting orientation that improves accuracy, reduces the risk of inadvertent self-spraying, and helps maintain an effective defensive posture. To use, flip the thumb safety off, raise and point at the assailant’s face, and depress the brass actuator in short bursts—each insert contains around three 1/2-second discharges and has an effective range of three feet. The irritant disperses in a cone-shaped pattern, creating a cloud that can instantly and effectively debilitate an aggressor, giving you time to get away.

    NRA

Your state recently rushed through legislation making it unlawful to communicate to those under 18 about broad categories of firearms, parts, and accessories. This includes not only information about their purchase and use, but also the promotion of firearm safety and training. This law also restricts communications that promote an organization such as ours.

As a result, the NRA is forced to restrict the sending of certain materials and information into your state.

This restriction is made under protest, but we have to do this to comply with your state’s infringement on the freedoms of speech and association of the NRA and our members, supporters, and the general public.

Once this unconstitutional law is struck down or repealed, this restriction will be removed.
